Frederiksberg is situated in the centre of the Capital Region of Denmark, close to Copenhagen city centre and Copenhagen international airport. The Copenhagen Metro connects central Frederiksberg to the extensive network of public transportation possibilities of the Capital Region of Denmark. In 2007 the metro line to the airport will be completed, which will make Frederiksberg even easier and faster to access from the airport.

Frederiksberg has a fully developed road network, including bicycle paths along most arterial roads.
